New and current TCAM members must register annually with US Masters Swimming and TCAM.  The USMS registration is completed online at usms.org.  The annual TCAM registration form can be completed and turned in at the fitness center desk with the annual fee.  TCAM registration forms are also available at the fitness center desks.  Checks or cash are required for payment of the TCAM annual membership.

Tryout Workout

Interested swimmers are allowed to swim with the TCAM program one time on a trial basis prior to joining the team and the fitness center. Trial swimmers will be charged a daily fee for the workout. After the trial workout, swimmers must complete both registrations, USMS and TCAM, plus the Sonora Sport and Fitness membership forms and pay all fees before joining the workouts.

Selecting A Workout

New swimmers are welcome at any of the hour workout times.  All levels of abilities are accommodated at each workout. You can vary your daily workout selection based on your schedule.

Prior to starting a workout, new swimmers are encouraged to talk with a coach on the deck during the workout. The coach will be able to show you how swimmers are assigned to each lane based upon ability and conditioning level.

On your first day of swimming, the coach will place you in a lane that will work best for your level of swimming. You will be given individual attention in regards to your strokes, the workout and lane etiquette.  All new swimmers are encouraged to start off slowly and rest frequently. We want you to enjoy your first experience with our program.
